We are a key entry point for future and new students, and we facilitate the New Student Orientation & Registration program. We also advise current students who have not yet decided on their major or academic interest.

If you experience a crisis during the day, please call the Counseling Center at 206-546-4559. We are open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (M-Th), 8:00 – 4:30 (F). Enrolled students may make an appointment for short-term counseling to address issues and concerns that may be interfering with their ability to achieve educational, career or personal goals.
Counseling faculty offer educational and personal growth topics through Human Development credit courses, Independent Study and Special Topics.
The Alcohol eCheck Up To Go is an interactive web survey that allows college and university students to enter information about their drinking patterns and receive feedback about their use of alcohol. The assessment takes about 6-7 minutes to complete, is self-guided, and requires no face-to-face contact time with a counselor or administrator.
