Check back in March for the Spring and Summer 2012 Basketball Recruiting Gyms.
The SCC men’s basketball team has “Recruiting Games” for college and high school students, or community individuals who are interested in potentially playing basketball at Shoreline Community College for the varsity basketball program.
"Basketball Recruiting Games" are pick-up basketball games that the SCC varsity basketball coaches watch. If coaches are interested in certain participants, they will potentially recruit them to our varsity teams.
"Basketball Recruiting Games" are available for anyone who wishes to participate, but does not guarantee anyone will make the varsity team at Shoreline CC. There is also no guarantee of the amount of time any one individual will get to participate in the "Basketball Recruiting Games." Teams are usually picked amongst the individual players and basketball skill and conditioning may play a part in the selection of teams.
"Basketball Recruiting Games" are not for individuals to just come to shoot or play on their own, they are for competition between 5 on 5 teams. No one will be guaranteed any shooting time during Basketball Recruiting Game if both courts are in use.
