Coaching Staff
Head Coach Greg Turcott has been a high school coach in the Seattle area for the past 12 years He was named Coach of the Year in 2008-09 after leading his team to a league title. He grew up in a basketball family, son of coach Gary Turcott, head coach at Carroll College from 1990-2009. He has dedicated his life to the game of basketball, first as a player, then as a coach.
Turcott led the SCC Dolphins in 2010-11 to a 13-13 record in his first season as a college coach. SCC finished 6-10 in the tough NWAACC Northern Region. SCC had one NWAACC All-Star in Sean Jones who signed with Hawaii Pacific University.
Assistant Coach: Tyler Rose is in his first year as the Assistant Coach for Shoreline CC. Born in Portland, OR, Rose graduated from Rex Putnam High School where he was a 4 year Varsity Letter and returned as Head Junior Varsity Coach, and Assistant Varsity Coach for 4 seasons from 2003-2008. Rose then relocated to Zephyr Cove, NV where he coached the Junior Varsity Whittell Warriors for three seasons and in his second season also took on the Head Coaching position for the Mens Varsity Program for two years while completing a Bachelors of Sports Sciences Degree in the field of Sports Management from the United States Sports Academy.
Volunteer Assistant: Adam Jose is in his 2nd year as the Assistant Coach for Shoreline CC. Coach Joses responsibilities include training the guards and wings, recruiting and helping players get to 4 year schools. Born in Seattle WA, Jose graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School where he was a Varsity Letterman in 3 sports. He continued his education at Shoreline Community College where he obtained his AA degree. He continued his education at the University Of Phoenix where he received his Bachelor Degree in Human Services Management. Jose is currently employed by the Seattle School District as a Special Education Assistant at Jane Addams K-8. Currently lives in Seattle with wife Charlene and 4 year old son Marcus.
Strength And Conditioning Coach - Joe Cairo is the owner of "Beastcamp", a sport performance based company that enhances young athletes strength and conditioning to excel at their sport or can be used by older athletes who wish to improve performance once again.
