Shoreline Community College can help you apply for aid and access a full range of financial assistance programs. Eligibility for each program can vary widely, so it is important to understand the requirements for the particular types of aid you may be seeking.

 

IMPORTANT!  There are currently two FAFSA years available at www.fafsa.gov.  Be sure to choose the year based on your enrollment plans.  See dates below:

*It is still possible to apply for financial aid after this deadline. If you miss the deadline, you will need to pay all tuition and fees until your eligibility is determined later in the quarter.

 

Announcements

Spring 2012 Financial Aid Checks will be mailed beginning March 30, 2012. 

  • Financial aid checks are mailed (not picked-up on campus)
  • Checks are mailed daily the first two weeks of the quarter
  • Checks are mailed if students:
    • Are awarded (Financial aid Award letters are sent through U.S. mail)
    • Made the required academic progress (generally Winter 2012)
    • Registered in correct number of credits
    • Do not have a block on their account (i.e. parking fine)

*Spring quarter starts April 2, 2012*

 

Tuition is always due:

  • Within 5 business days after registering or by the first day of the quarter, whichever is first.
  • After the start of the quarter tuition and fees are due at the time of registration.
