Basic Food Employment and Training (BFET)

The BFET program provides assistance with training costs at Shoreline Community College to eligible individuals currently receiving DSHS Basic Food Assistance. Opportunity Grant

The Opportunity Grant is for Washington State residents who are income eligible and have less than 45 college-level credits.  This program is only for students going into Automotive, Business Technology, Education, Manufacturing, Phlebotomy, Visual Communication Technology, and Clean Energy Technology.  Eligible students receive tuition, books/supplies and some additional support available.  For more information, contact: > Opportunity Grant

Worker Retraining

The Worker Retraining Program provides assistance for retraining to six population groups: people who are currently receiving Unemployment Insurance benefits or have exhausted those benefits within the past 24 months; displaced homemakers; formerly self-employed persons; vulnerable workers who have received a warn note or those in danger of losing their current job; victims of disasters whose jobs were affected; and military personnel who have been honorably discharged within the past 6 months.  For more information, contact: > Worker Retraining
