ESL/GED Technology Center

The ESL/GED Technology Center helps students improve their technology skills via workshops, videos, tutoring and books.  Visit the Center to speak with the staff and see what resources are available. The Center is in the 1700 Building, Room 1721.    

                

Mentors (HEROES)

ESL, ABE or GED students who are making the transition into college classes can have a peer mentor (HERO) to help them. HEROES are students who are already taking college classes. Some of the things a HERO can do for you are:

  • share their experience with you as you figure out how to access student services around

  • let you know how they have been able to to succeed in college classes

  • provide encouragement

  • connect you with other social or educational opportunities around campus
