Free Online Tutoring

Shoreline Community College is a member of the Northwest eTutoring Consortium, a group of 35 colleges and universities providing free online tutoring.  This 24/7 service includes an online writing lab, email question center, and live chat.  Students can participate in online tutoring for the following subjects: 

• Accounting
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Math (developmental through calculus)
• MS Office 2007
• Outpatient Medical Coding
• Pathophysiology & Pharmacology
• Physics
• Spanish
• Statistics
• Web Development (xHTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver)
• Writing (for any course)

Students who submit papers for feedback can expect a response within 48 hours.

SCC students have access to eTutoring throughout the dates below.  Access ends each quarter on the last day of instruction and is not available during finals or quarter breaks.

• Winter Quarter 2012:       January 11 – March 19

• Spring Quarter 2012:       April 4 – June 11

To access eTutoring go to the website www.etutoring.org and—

• Click on the red Login arrow.
• Select Northwest eTutoring Consortium.
• Select Shoreline Community College from the pull-down menu.
• In the “Login” window choose Student and follow the directions for logging in.
